The K9WZ Repeater plays the weekly program Amateur Radio Newsline™ twice a week over the repeater
It is played every Tuesday at 7:30 pm local time, and again at 9:05 pm on saturday.
This program is produced by the Amateur Radio Newsline™ organization, and offers a weekly dose of the
latest happenings in amateur radio. The program often contains the latest information on FCC activities related
to amateur radio, and other topics of interest from around the world. It allows you to remain informed about
your hobby in an easy to digest format.
We invite interested local amateurs to support the K9WZ repeater, by sponsoring our local playing of the
Newsline™ program. For every $5 donation you can sponsor a week's session of Newsline™. Your name and call, and
hometown will be announced prior to each playing of the Newsline™ program for a week. This is an inexpensive way
for you to show your support for the K9WZ repeater, and help to provide newsline for the benefit of your fellow
amateurs. The small donation can fit into anyone's budget, and be repeated as often as you desire. Sponsoring
Newsline™ is also a great way for non - repeater members, or occasional users of the repeater to show their support.
